It’s bo6 bot lobbies honestly not surprising that microtransactions are now the biggest revenue stream for PC gaming. Between free-to-play titles like League of Legends, Fortnite, and Warframe, plus full-price games with aggressive monetization like Call of Duty or Overwatch 2, the trend has been obvious for years. What used to be optional cosmetics is now baked into progression systems, season passes, and even gameplay advantages in some games.

The real shift happened when companies realized that consistent small purchases from millions of players outpaced single $60 game sales. Instead of one-time purchases, they now have constant revenue through battle passes, skins, expansions, and loot boxes. It’s a subscription model in disguise.

While I get the business side of it, it feels like the soul of gaming is being chipped away. Games are often designed around monetization instead of buy bot lobbies bo6 fun. Still, as long as people keep buying, developers will keep selling.
